Brighton & Hove LGBT+ Volunteer Fair

Brighton Friends Meeting House
6.30pm - 8.30pm
Open to the public

To celebrate National Volunteers' Week, Brighton & Hove’s LGBT+ and HIV+ community organisations invite to you our Volunteer Fair at Friends Meeting House on Thu 6 June, 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Some of us are charities, others are meet ups, others still are small grassroots support groups, but we all share one thing in common. Each of our organisations is volunteer-led and volunteer run, delivering vital support to those in need, whether it be a meal, companionship, mental health support or opportunities for socialising through sport and song. Our member groups all depend on the time, skills, good will and determination of people within the communities we serve who volunteer with us. This event will showcase the work done by our member groups, celebrate the volunteers already involved, as well as providing guidance and opportunities to get involved as a volunteer. Member groups include: Rainbow Chorus, The Clare Project, Older and Out, Lunch Positive, Blagss, Brighton and Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum, Trans Pride Brighton, Navigate Brighton, TRANS CAN SPORT, MCC Brighton, Brighton Bothways and more. Free food & refreshments will be provided by Lunch Positive.
