Celebrating Volunteering – meet our Advisors

Community Voluntary Service
Open to the public

Volunteers' Week Special We will be out and about during volunteers week 1 - 7 June and would love to meet as many volunteers throughout Bedfordshire as we can, so please do come and say hello and tell us what you are already doing to support local social action in Bedfordshire. We would love to pass on our thanks. To start volunteering locally, come along to this recruitment session and speak to an advisor about the available opportunities in the Bedfordshire area that might suit your interest and availability. You can turn up at any time during the session, register with us and discover the latest opportunities. One of our one-to-one advisors will be able to point you in the direction of some organisations that would value your help. This is an informal session with no commitments. Opportunities include administration, conservation, befriending the elderly or someone with a disability, driving, charity shop work, mentoring ex-offenders & lots more! Training is often provided and expenses are usually paid. Volunteering is a great way to prepare yourself for paid employment and is usually very rewarding. It builds confidence, you will meet new people, learn new skills, get a reference & have something to put on your CV. Contact us by email or on 01234 354366, if you would like further information.
