Celebrating Volunteering – meet our Advisors

03
Jun
Bedford Central Library
11:00am-4:00pm
Open to the public

We will be out and about during volunteers week 1 - 7 June and would love to meet as many volunteers throughout Bedfordshire as we can, so please do come and say hello and tell us what you are already doing to support local social action in Bedfordshire. We would love to pass on our thanks. To find out about volunteering locally, come along to Bedford Central Library, Harpur St, Bedford MK40 1PG at any time between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm and speak to our advisor about the opportunities in your area. We will be able to point you in the direction of some organisations that would value your help. You will be able to register an interest with us to be kept informed of opportunities as they arise. Opportunities include administration, conservation, befriending the elderly or someone with a disability, driving, charity shop work, mentoring ex-offenders & lots more! Training is often provided and expenses are usually paid. Volunteering is a great way to prepare yourself for paid employment and is usually very rewarding. It builds confidence, you will meet new people, learn new skills, get a reference & have something to put on your CV. Contact us by email or on 01234 354366, if you would like further information.
