Suffolk Volunteering Conference 2019 - Inspire, Encourage & Enable Diversity in Volunteering Community Action Suffolk’s annual Volunteering Conference is focusing on Diversity in Volunteering, during national Volunteers’ Week. SUFFOLK’S thriving voluntary and community sector will come together in June for an event to help leaders and contributors gain more knowledge and skill-sharing around the role of volunteers. Leading experts in the arena of volunteering are due to present at the special occasion, which is being hosted by Community Action Suffolk. Taking place at Blackbourne Community Centre in Elmswell on Thursday 6th June, the day-long conference will feature talks by Shaun Delaney, Volunteering Development Manager for the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, and Petula Storey, Head of Volunteering at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust. The event will coincide with National Volunteering Week and is open to leaders and managers from across the region. Cost is between £35-£45.00 pp You will need to book a place in advance.
