Volunteers' Week is a chance to celebrate volunteering in all its diversity and say thank you for the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK. It takes place on 1–7 June every year. This free webinar is an opportunity to learn more about the week, and the resources we have to help you celebrate. Each year, Volunteers’ Week reaches more people in new and exciting ways. The success of the week is all down to you - the people and organisations who are loud, grateful and unapologetic about recognising the great stuff volunteers do. What we’ll cover: - Why we have Volunteers’ Week - A tour of the resources on the website - A chance to hear from organisations who have celebrated the week before - Tips of getting involved on social media - How to use the events listing - And more ... Who is this briefing for? Whether it’s your first time celebrating the week, or you’ve been with us from the first celebration 35 years ago, this is for you. It will be especially useful for people leading in celebrations for your organisation, club or group - big or small. Everything you need to get involved is on the Volunteers' Week website, but if you want to hear a bit more, then come along to the webinar.
