Wildlife Wednesdays – Moss Valley

Join Don Catchment Rivers Trust volunteer days aimed at restoring the riverine environment. All abilities welcome! Timings: 10am – 3pm with a break for lunch and refreshments. Feel free to come to part of the day if required. What to bring: We will provide all necessary equipment and refreshments. All you need to wear is appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes. Tasks include: We will be concentrating on removing the invasive weed Himalayan Balsam all along the Moss catchment by pulling up the plant which has very shallow root systems. Location: The meeting point will change each week depending on how far along the river we have made progress.
