Zebras Community Cafe Official Launch

Ponders End Community Trust
10am until 2pm
Open to the public

On Friday 7th June Zebras Children and Adults Charity will be celebrating the launch of our new project - Zebras Community Cafe. We will be joined by our local Mayor of Enfield North London and Leader who will officially open the project for us. We are celebrating our successful application for National Lottery Community Funding which will support the project and its future. The Zebras Community Cafe project is held at The Ponder End Community Trust in Enfield, every Friday during term times and is a supported employment project for students and adults with disabilities within the borough. Our successful application means that we can run the project for one year, we aim to reapply for lottery funding with its success to expand the project further into its second year - therefore more people can gain valuable, meaningful work experience. Our long term goal is to offer paid employment roles. It happens to be Volunteers week on the day we are open! So we have perfectly timed our launch to celebrate with our wonderful volunteers and community for whom the project is dedicated too. The Cafe will be open from 10:00 until 2:00pm - Friday 7th June Official opening will take place from 1pm - The Mayor and local leader will be officially opening the project.
