Two volunteer perspectives from A&E

Posted on the 1st June 2019

Helpforce sees the opportunity to build a national programme to promote the role and value of volunteering within hospitals, and deliver volunteer-centred innovation and improvement across the UK.

Below, two A&E volunteers, Andy and Mike, talk about why they volunteer with the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and how this role benefits them.

If you are interested in a similar volunteering role you can visit one of Helpforce’s taster sessions at Russell’s Hall Hospital from 10am – 3pm on Thursday 6th June, as part of Volunteers’ Week !
