Volunteering with Talk Listen Change

Posted on the 22nd May 2019

STRIVE volunteers are local people who work alongside the police to visit homes where the police have attended but no crimes have been logged.

The role invovles intense and comprehensive training and a minimum commitment from volunteers of 2.5 hours per week.

The volunteers support benficiaries signposting them to further support. Without intervention from volunteers, these people would not receive any support on issues such as domestic violence, depression or debt and family breakdowns may escalate.

Talk, Listen, Change is proud to support STRIVE across a number of areas in Greater Manchester.

STRIVE volunteers discuss what motivates them to give their spare time to the cause
